When do Factlines share Personal Information to third-parties?

Factlines only shares or discloses Personal Information to our data processors when necessary to provide Services or conduct our business operations. When we share personal information, we do so in accordance with data privacy and security requirements. Factlines does not and will not sell personal information about our customers or user. We do not transfer Personal Information to third parties outside Norway and the EU. The Factlines Platform may include links to products or applications of third parties whose privacy practices may differ from Factlines. If you provide Personal Information to any of those third parties or their products, your data is governed by their privacy statements, and we encourage you to read these privacy statements carefully.


Security, Storage and Retention of Personal Information

Security

Factlines is committed to protecting the security. We use technical, administrative and procedural measures in an attempt to safeguard your personal and other information from unauthorized access or use. For example, we store the Personal Information you provide on computer systems that have limited access and that are in controlled facilities. We also ensure that our third-party data center vendors provide adequate security measures. Additionally, your data is protected with encryption, such as Transport Layer Security (TLS), during transfer over the Internet and at rest.

No such measure is ever 100% effective though, so we do not guarantee that your personal and other information will be secure from theft, loss, or unauthorized access or use, and we make no representation as to the reasonableness, efficacy, or appropriateness of the measures we use to safeguard such information. Users are responsible for maintaining the  secrecy of their own passwords. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of any account you might have with us has been compromised), please immediately notify us by contacting us at privacy@factlines.com
